What is cerebral palsy?

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a neurological disorder that affects motor functions i.e. body movement, muscle control and coordination, muscle tone and reflex, posture and balance, fine and gross motor skills, and oral motor functioning. It is considered the most common motor disability in childhood. The symptoms of CP may vary from individual to individual.
